OpenOrienteering Mapper is an orienteering mapmaking program and provides a free and open source alternative to existing commercial software. OpenOrienteering Mapper runs on Android, Windows, macOS and Linux.While it is under continuous development and considered in beta state, it has been used to produce maps for classical orienteering, MTBO and radio orienteering races. All required functions for drawing maps are implemented and the program works very stable. So it can be considered ready for productive use, although it is like always a good idea to keep backups of your files. We are happy about feedback to the program.

The goal of the app is, with your help, to collect public transport barrier data and make it available on OpenStreetMap so that EVERYONE can benefit from it. By asking simple questions about stops, citizens shall be put in a position to collect data in their vicinity in an accessible manner. The data you collect will build the foundation for better travel information, especially for physically impaired people, and guide the upgrading process of bus stops. PeakOrama shows mountains around a location using the PeakFinder-API. Location can either be searched via the Open-Meteo API or via the GPS of your device. The view can be rotated manually on the screen, or based on the built-in compass of your device or via direction of movement. In case your compass has an offset even after calibration there is an option to adjust the offset. Setting marks is not supported. A working internet connection is required to use this app. Approximately 5-10 MB of data is downloaded for each location, so be mindful of your data usage.

PinPoi imports thousand points of interest for your gps navigator. You can import Google KML and KMZ, TomTom OV2, simple GeoRSS, Garmin GPX, Navigon ASC, CSV and zipped collections directly into your phone and organize them in collections. PinPoi searches using your gps position or a custom location, you can choose your destination from a map and open it with your preferred app.

PlaneSpotter shows aircrafts for your locations.The data is provided by ADS-B One. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License (ODbL).Minimum permissions: PlaneSpotter only requires a minimum of permissions, namely only the INTERNET permission. This is necessary to make HTTP requests to remote servers to receive data. Optional: Authorization for GPS.

Receive live traffic news via Traffic Message Channel (TMC) Qz (pronounced “queues”) connects to an RDS/TMC receiver to receive live traffic messages. TMC is transmitted in the RDS data stream of various radio channels and provides live traffic information, helping you avoid congestions. For a list of countries in which this app can be used, see https://gitlab.com/mvglasow/qz/wikis/countries. In order to use this app, you will need a supported RDS/TMC receiver. The following devices are currently supported: * GNS FM9-BT (requires Bluetooth) * Silicon Labs Si4701/4703-based USB tuners (requires USB OTG support) If you are unable to pick up any traffic messages, despite having a supported device and being in an area which should be supported, check your antenna. Reception with pigtail antennas (a long piece of wire coming out of the receiver) is generally poor and insufficient for TMC. It is recommended to rely on your vehicle antenna, a building antenna or a somewhat decent room antenna. Qz will only work with unencrypted TMC services (as encrypted services require paying a per-device royalty). Also, some countries have chosen to require paying a royalty for access to their location tables (which Qz needs to decode TMC locations) and are therefore not supported.
