Foreground is an easy to use task manager app. Designed to be beautiful, simple and unintrusive, Foreground helps you know what needs done without getting in your way. Foreground also supports syncing with Taskwarrior servers. Syncing To set up sync, add your taskwarrior server credentials (provided by your taskd server or a service like inthe.am or FreeCinc) to the settings menu, and enable sync using the toggle. A test will be run to check if the settings are valid, and the enable will stick if the config works. You can also configure automatic syncing in this menu, or click the sync button on the main page to start a sync. Implementation Details Unlike existing Taskwarrior apps for Android, Foreground does not run the taskwarrior binary inside, but rather implements a taskwarrior sync client. This allows for greater device compatibility and simplifies UI development but it can cause issues when syncing if not done correctly. Current Limitations Foreground currently supports most features of Taskwarrior. Notable exceptions involve handling of recurring events and display/editing of User Defined Attributes. Recurring event instances created by other clients will be shown by Foreground, but Foreground does not create recurring event instances of its own at this time. User Defined attributes are preserved internally but are not yet exposed for viewing or editing. These limitations will be resolved in future releases.

Fujiten is an offline Japanese dictionary application made with the Flutter framework. Definition and kanji comes from the EDICT dictionary, compiled as a database from the edict_database project. Setup In order for fujiten to work, the Expression Database and the Kanji Database are needed. The databases can be downloaded and installed from fujiten via the "settings/databases" menu or by downloading the database manually from https://github.com/odrevet/edict_database. Top menu Bars Access the settings menu. The settings menu allows you to download the dictionaries, set brightness and read legal information. Insert Radicals <> Will match kanji composed with the selected radicals. Kanji character Ⓚ Will match any kanji. Kana character ㋐ Will match a hiragana/katakana character. Joker .* Any match. Convert In case your device is not equipped with a Japanese input keyboard, fujiten can convert Latin character (romaji) to hiragana or katakana. Lowercase romaji will be converted to hiragana, uppercase romaji will be converted to katakana. Kotoba / Kanji search When Kotoba is selected, fujiten will search for expression. HabsGleich enables you to note small changes of your mind's performance without referring to non-personal standard tests or uploading sensitive data to third party servers. To this end you collect adventures in the diary on a rougly daily basis. The choice and language of the adventures should be consistent over time and the time between noting two subsequent adventures should not vary too much from one day. After some time the app begins to choose adventures from the diary for mind testing. This choice is adaptive to your mind performance in such a way that you always can expect to have more positive than negative results. The test results are amalgated into a single number, the "mind index". Its value is roughly the number of days you still remember your adventures rather well after. The temporal graph of this mind index is displayed on the statistics page of the app. The diary can be used to search, edit and remove adventures. There are about thirty different languages covered, which can be enabled in the settings. For the five-row layout, the keyboard has separate number keys, punctuation in the usual places; tab, ctrl and arrow keys. It is based on the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard, so it supports multitouch for the modifier keys. Completion dictionaries are only possible via plug-in packages, available from the website, though there is no template for building these from source. Anysoftkeyboard dictionaries don't appear to work. The permissions requested by the application are those needed by the underlying Gingerbread keyboard. It uses the contacts information for completion of names and email addresses, and audio recording for the voice input feature.
